Rust

I’ve been learning Rust for about a year. I’m kind of obsessed with it now. Most of the things I aim to create and post here will be written in Rust.

Leather Working

I like to make little leather trinkets. It’s a nice complement to the computer-work I do a lot. I like to make something physical every now and then. My wife wears the shoes I made for her.

Watercolor

I like painting with watercolors. I’ll add a Gallery section here soon.

Audio/Visual

I somehow ended up in the low-voltage electrician world which, given my expertise, led to me being an AV systems programmer. If your shop uses Q-Sys, I can contribute.

Italy

I’m going to Italy! I got accepted into a master’s degree program at the University of Florence. I’m excited for the education, but my real motivation is to escape the United States. You know what the kids are saying nowadays: The new American dream is to leave.

This Site

Built with Zola, a tool written in Rust. I like to stay within the Rust ecosystem. Did I mention I was obsessed?

I added a blog section only because the site felt really small without it. I’m gonna fill it with nerdy opinionated drivel and no one can stop me. I suspect the only people who will read it are those in my circle to whom I send a link, eagerly awaiting a response.
